Discovering Grounding
Espen first became interested in grounding while looking for simple ways to support his recovery and overall well-being. After researching different approaches, he discovered grounding and began spending more time in direct contact with the Earth. That experience sparked a deeper interest in how grounding could fit more naturally into everyday life and eventually inspired the products now used by Grounding Essentials customers across the United States.
Indoor Grounding Solutions
Grounding outdoors can be simple, but it is not always practical year-round. For Espen, that became especially clear during the colder months, when spending extended time barefoot outside was not realistic. This led him to explore indoor grounding products that could make grounding easier to incorporate into daily routines while sleeping, working, or relaxing at home. Today, that same idea is reflected in the products we offer to U.S. customers, with familiar sizing, U.S.-compatible grounding plugs, and solutions designed to fit naturally into everyday life.
Starting Grounding Essentials
As Espen researched the grounding market, he found that product quality, materials, setup instructions, and overall reliability varied widely. With more than a decade of experience in product development, design, and factory production, he decided to create grounding products with a stronger focus on quality, usability, and clear customer education. After six months of research and product development, Grounding Essentials launched its first grounding product. As the brand has grown in the United States, we have continued adapting the experience for American customers, including standard U.S. bed sizes, measurements in inches, U.S. grounding plugs, and domestic fulfillment from our Fort Worth, Texas warehouse.
